Stock Market Overview: June 10th
Last week, the market experienced its first major multi-day decline since the big loss in late February. Investor confidence has been fairly high lately with the market doing so well and continuously pushing new levels.
As I discussed in the last market overview, there are numerous bearish indicators in the market that have appeared:
- Price has fallen below the support line - bearish
- RSI has fallen under 70 - bearish
- Long term EMA falling under the short term EMA (MACD) - bearish
With these thoughts in mind, make sure you are cautious in your investment decisions. The market experiences its worst crashes when investors have thrown caution to the wind and blindly put faith into the market. While the market has been doing very well, be sure to take profits often. Using proper diversification and risk management strategies will help you minimize your losses in the event of a crash.
